moving on!

my husband and i are seperated right now. I am living with my mother, Sarah telega. I finally got my 1st social security check at the beggining of january. I've had some people make rude comments about how i shouldn't be on social security and i've had alot of people be really supportive about it. I've been trying to find an apartment for me and my two little boys, caden and cody. I've ran into some discriminating landlords. ONe said,"well who's going to take care of you if you move out on your own?" I just told him that i am independent and i can take care of myself. I really wanted to say, "I'm handicapped not retarded" I called another landlord and explaiened my situation. he said,"so you don't work and you're on social security? what am I suppossed to do with that?"and then he started laughing.Also one time in walmart I was driving one of them motorized scooters and someone stated,"some people are so lazy!" So as you can see i've been descriminated against. the handicapped are people too and should be treated with some respect. where just like anyone else except we have minimal to no function of our legs! Anyways, I am still looking for an appartment to rent. If anyone knows of a two bedroom appartment for rent that's $450 or less, in jerseyville. please hook me up. i would really appreciate it. I've bought tons of stuff for my new to be appartment. real cheap too! I've gone to flea markets and the good will. My moms kitchen and living room is overflowing with crap. lol.
